No matter how much I try to organize, my wallet is constantly a hot mess. There are ticket stubs, bus passes, metro cards old and new, (hardly any) cash, and receipts galore. It makes for an embarrassing interaction when I go to pay for something and my stuff is overflowing everywhere. But at least with this wallet, there’s a better than average chance that I’ll still look pulled together as I’m swiping my seventh metro card and cursing at the “insufficient funds” notice flashing back at me. Note to self: re-use metro cards, or toss them, but for the love of all things holy (and the annoyed guy in the suit behind me) don’t mix them with the new ones.
