Ballet Beauties
I’ll never understand how gals gallivant around the city in 5 inch heels without revealing a trace of the discomfort they have to be experiencing. I love heels. On weekends or at any time I know I’m taking a cab. When I’m trekking a half mile to the subway in the morning before navigating the underground, not so much. And that whole business of wearing sneakers and changing at the office makes me feel like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl*. So my brilliant solution is to sport fabulous flats. I snuck in a pricier pair because 1. they remind me of Bottega and 2. I love them.

OMG! Those paisley ones are adorable and I just ordered them. I agree with Melissa that they do look like Lilly at a fraction of the price. I hope they are comfy. I’ll do a post when I get them. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.

I bought the Sam and Libby ones this weekend and have worn them one, they are very true to size I wear a 61/2 and had to buy a seven and they are a bit to big, but I put the heel pads in and they were fine. I love these shows, I love Lilly and all of her stuff, and these were only 29.99 at the Stride Rite outlet. I have worn them with all black outfit I received so many compliments. Love these shoes, now I need to go find those red ones.
