E.L.F. All Over Color Stick $1

ELF multiI got one of these at Nars a few years ago and it cost about the same as this one. Times 37. Honestly, I realize not all beauty products are created equal, but E.L.F. prides itself on offering quality makeup at (ridiculously) affordable prices. Try one — you have almost nothing to lose. In NYC you can’t buy a pack of gum for a buck, let alone a dope multi-purpose makeup stick.

  1. i immediately went to their website and found several items worth trying for a $1, but having sensitive skin and being skeptical of the price, i did a little more research and found this: http://youngandbroke.typepad.com/young_and_broke/2006/09/eyes_lips_face.html

apparently people are frustrated with the shipping delay(some ordered in september and have yet to receive their order) so just beware. also, people say it’s available in some targets and grocery stores so who knows what the quality actually is. but at $1 it’s still worth a try, i guess.

This company has several complaints being filed against if for fraud and items never being received. Just FYI…

  3. I heard about the Bloomingdale’s thing, and knew that they were never affiliated, and the fraud alert on the bloom site concedes that elf didn’t start that rumor. I hadn’t heard, though, that people were having problems receiving their orders, so thanks for the heads up! I’ve purchased elf gloss from the sample size section at target and loved it. Definitely worth the buck, but then again didn’t have to wait for it to come in the mail.

  4. Well…I would never order Elf products (since shipping would have to be more than the products themselves) but the ones I have been sent by their PR and ones I’ve purchased at Target I have been impressed with. This is the first I’ve heard of there being problems, and I am advertising them on my blog, so definitly, thanks for the heads up. :-)
