Sprig, TV & Rouge

A few weeks ago Sprig taped a segment for WNBC, the local NYC news, about eco-friendly makeup. We featured, among other goodies, Cargo PlantLove Lipstick (which, as you probably already know, comes in a biodegradable box with seeds that sprout wildflowers when planted) and lots of fabulous Aveda Products. If you’re so inclined, check out the video here. I was the “model” and if you’re gonna point out that there’s too much rouge on my face, save your breath—my best friends, family, co-workers and fiance have already nicknamed me clown face. (And besides my grandmother, who the heck still calls it “rouge”?)
As a side note, the makeup artist, Rudy Miles from Aveda, did an amazing job—and the “rouge” was applied, then brushed out for a sheer pink finish. So there Friel.

Don’t you listen to a word they say - I thought you looked great! And who didn’t know that lovely red spot was going to be brushed out - get with it, people! (and I don’t call it rouge, but sometimes I still call it blush-on.
