Isaac Mizrahi for Target Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater $19.99*
Last week, my super stylish friend Aimee tipped me off to sale on these cashmere sweaters at Target. When I checked them out on the site, however, I was a little disappointed that the guest reviews weren’t so great. So I asked Aimee to let me know when she got them and she had this to say:
“Got the sweaters- they are super cute and super soft- 100% cashmere. Haven’t tried it on yet, but it looks just like your run of the mill turtle neck sweater so I can’t imagine I’ll have any problems with it. For $20 I am thrilled!”
And she doesn’t even work at Target. They also come in red, winter white, and black. Thanks Aim!

Careful with these–not all cashmere is created equal… There are huge differences in the yarn depending on where the fur grows on the animal, as well as the gauge (tightness of the knit) of the garment. Sometimes manufacturers will even sweep up the snipped off rough ends from the floor and weave ‘em.
Having learned the hard way–even though the tag or your mama might say you can handwash cashmere, buyer beware.

Thanks so much for the tips, Jess!! Actually, I just got mine and they seem good so far. Also, they were featured in Real Simple mag for being a good inexpensive cashmere. (Not as good, of course, as the ’spensive ones.) And I believe everything I hear in magazines. Just kidding.
