I got so much slack from my snobby friends (I love you guys!) for posting something from Penny’s last time. Just because it got the beat down in Zoolander (remember when Milla Jovovich dishes, with a disgusted sneer, what seems to be the ultimate insult to Christine Taylor by referring to her J.C. Penny’s suit?) doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take a look at their new offerings. This ruffled jacket from their new Nicole Miller line may not work for everyone, but with the right pants, and attitude, it’s a sleek and fun change from the norm.

i like it a lot. it looks trendy but it can also be a mainstay in your closet once people like lindsay lohan, etc stop going crazy over ruffles

I love the look, JC Penny or not, but what other shirts do you suggest other then the longer one that’s pictured?

It’s a cute jacket. And it doesn’t matter that it’s trendy as it’s so cheap.
I’d wear a ribbed undershirt with it, or maybe a fitted t-shirt with a funky design. Would make a nice contrast with the ruffles.
