Tsumori Chisato for La Redoute Blouson Tee $30
With its specially commissioned designer duds, I consider La Redoute the French version of Target. Past designers have included Karl Lagerfeld, Vanessa Bruno, Joseph and Emanuel Ungaro, and Jean Paul Gaultier. Tsumori Chrisato has recently joined the ranks, and has breathed new life into the old standby tee with touches like a shawl-style neckline, belled sleeves, and a blouson hemline. Much like Luella Bartley when she’s not designing for Target, you can get her gorgeous pieces for the price of an arm, a leg, or a gallon of premium gasoline. Or you can snatch up one of her pieces from La Redoute and marvel at how savvy–and chic– you are. (I’d go with the second option.)
