Today let’s all give a warm welcome to the world’s first Human-Powered Search Engine: Mahalo!
Now, I have the hots for Google just as much as the next Gal, but have you ever entered your search and had to troll though four pages of spam until you found anything close to the vicinity of your desired result? Enter Mahalo. It’s not for every search, but if you’re looking for a new digital camera? Researching your next vacation? Hunting for a bus route in NYC? Try Mahalo. If you’re stalking ex-flings, stick with Google.
Full disclaimer: My Fabulous Fiance is Mahalo’s Director of User Experience. Now, I have only a fraction of an idea what that really means, but I’m very proud nonetheless.

Avon’s Mark just introduced some new goodies. The Pop In Color Palette has a brush and room for 4 pots of color–eyeshadow, eyeliner, or lipgloss–which are 5 smackers each. The real beauty is that you get to choose your own colors instead of buying a palette with three awesome shades and one so garish it’s reserved solely for Halloween.

I get the most fabulous little NYC newsletter weekly called SpreeMail and this dress was included recently. I’m usually not a huge fan of the Secret, but my love for bows outweighs that. It also comes in white, for the daring.

*Down from $88.

Lavender, lemongrass, sage, and vetiver (had to consult wikipedia for that last one) in a bird-adorned silk pillow make for a heavenly scented pj drawer, or a lovely hostess gift.

I love the square neck and elbow-length sleeves on this feminine, cotton voile top. Not quite sure why the model’s not wearing pants, however.
