The Body Shop Mango Scrub $3

Mango ScrubThis scrub smells so good you will literally want to eat it. And with The Body Shop’s natural ingredients, you probably could. I recommend sticking to its original purpose, however, which is to gently spiff up your skin. And at 3 bucks a pop, I also recommend stocking up.

Fred Flare Red Thread Hoop Necklace $14*

Fred Flare NecklaceKatie Couric told me (ok, and anyone else who watches the Today Show) that link necklaces are huge for the Spring and Summer. This bamboo and thread-covered hoop number will do the trick and then some. With altering colors and textures, it’s a necklace that’ll get noticed. But if you’re the creative type and think you can make one better, check out Fred Flare’s The Next Big Thing Contest. If you win, among other things, they’ll feature your goods on their site. Sweet. More stuff for us to covet.

*Free shipping for Sharp Lily readers until 3/31. Use the discount code sharplily0306 for free ground shipping on orders over $20.

SPLURGE of the week: Blinc Kiss Me Mascara $24

Kiss Me MascaraIs it weird to get passionately preachy about a beauty product? Like, say, when you’re chatting about mascaras (or the subject happens to come up because you bring it up. Either one.) I just cannot say enough about this mascara. Every variety claims to make your lashes look long and lovely, with no clumping, of course. This is the only one I’ve tried that stands out as acually making good on its claim. It coats lashes in tiny tubes (which sounds way freakier than it is) and the result is long, lovely lashes with no clumping! Really. You don’t even need makeup remover to take it off, just a little warm water. If you try it you might find yourself bringing up mascara at random and inopportune moments, just a warning.

Payless Simona H-Band Sling Sandals $18

Payless SandalsWhile it seems like I’m the only one not dating a Greek shipping heir these days, the least I can do is sport the style. (Plus I’ll be spared the annoying paparazzi.) These will look great with capri pants or simple dresses.

Kiehl’s Sun-Free Self Tanning Formula $22.50

Last week I stopped by Kiehl’s and the saleswoman insisted that I take a sample of the new self-tanning formula. I’m always skeptical or using tanning lotion in the dead of winter, but I smeared some on Saturday morning and by that night I had received a ton of complements. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly, while the resulting color is subtle and natural. If you’re not ready to shell out $20 for the product, buy the cheapest thing on the site and you can snag the sample (it’s enough for more than a few applications).

Wishing Fish Luggage Tags $12

Like 99.9% of the population, I sport a black suitcase when I travel. I usually throw on a colored scarf so I can catch it when it comes off the conveyor belt at the airport, but on a recent trip I didn’t spy it until I saw someone else rummaging through it. That’s why I’m ordering this pack of leatherette tags. The colorful tags contan six different messages that get the point across and still have room for your name and address. My favorite is the “I’m pretty sure this isn’t your bag” lime green one. It screams louder than a lock and looks prettier than one.

La Redoute Cotton Trench $40

La Redoute Trench CoatI promise I’ll stop posting La Redoute trench coats. Right after this one. It’s classic (double-breasted style, belt), with great details (buckles at cuffs). Plus, it’s weather resistant and comes in six colors. And for such a wardrobe staple, the price is ridiculous. There, I’m all finished now.

Thanks for the hot tip, Ann!

Spiegel Satin Bow Skimmer $12*

Spiegel Satin FlatsI wish I saw these before I spent half a paycheck on the ugliest satin dyeable shoes I was forced to wear in a wedding last Summer. (I still cringe when I think about them.) Not only are they lovely, but since they’re flats you could be a dancing machine and not have to spend the next two days limping.
