The countdown til Super Bowl Sunday is on, and even though I’m not throwing down a party this year, I’m going to treat myself to these colorful paper plates, napkins and placemats for my next shindig. The designs are pure art and the fact that I don’t have to wash them after my guests chow down make them absolute masterpieces.
I’m usually not a fan of receiving the dreaded B-day card that’s filled with the little “fall-outs,” but these sequin cards are so cute and festive, I had to take a second look. Just pen your message on the card, fill the envelope with some sequins, seal, stamp and send them off. They’re perfect for dropping a line or sending out a party invite.

It’s the coolest trench coat (at this price) that I’ve ever seen. For the practical reasons: it’s sturdy, water repellant and comes with a removable lining for added versatility (These come in handy in case you need to rationalize the purchase). And for the important reasons: the unexpected stand-up collar and the buckle details. It also comes in black, ecru, and brown. If you’re looking for me, I’ll be the one wearing the dope jacket praying for rain.

The unseasonably warm weather has tricked me into thinking Spring is around the corner, so I’m daydreaming about sandals. (Love these, especially the color.) But it’s only Groundhog Day, and who knows if the rodent is going to see his shadow and wuss out or not. I’d rather not have six more weeks of Winter, so be brave little guy, be brave!
This year, I’m treating myself to something *real nice* for Valentine’s Day. (Note incredibly subtle movie reference. Any guesses?) There’s just something so impractical (or maybe practical?) and glamorous about this lipstick pen. And when it comes to buying presents for someone I love, I spare no expense.
The elephant print design on this tank is whimsical and fun, and like any good preppy, I love the colors. I might try to get away with wearing it (paired with something more appropriate) to work this Summer. I’ll let you know how it goes…

I’ve been looking for a little something new to spice up my life, and I think I found it. Now I realize that it’s only a makeup bag, but it’s a cute one. It doesn’t take much, people.
Just off the top of my head, I can think of about three thousand things to wear this with. It also comes in black and brown, and there’s a better than average chance I’ll buy all three.
Canvas makes it casual and the bow guards against it being overly so. Bows are almost always a good thing, really.

A pink hat adorned with little blue whales is so preppy, it makes a ribbon belt look edgy. And I love it. But alas, I don’t have time to order one now. I’m late to meet Biff at the club for our tennis match.
