The weather in NYC has been ridiculously warm for winter lately. So I think I’m gonna get my hot little hands on this quick, before global warming makes coats a thing of the past (sort of like the previously mentioned “True Blue” Madonna pin on my Guess acid-washed jean jacket.) This sapphire-colored corderoy number is great for Fall or Spring worn alone, or layered under a warmer coat in the Winter. For a little while longer anyway…

I’m not normally a fan of the designer’s name splashed all over the goods, but this clutch reminds me of Pop art. So I’ll overlook the name dropping and carry it with pride. Don’t make fun.

Treat yourself to this sweet and whimsical little pin to jazz up your jean jacket this spring. It’s a little more subdued than my “True Blue” Madonna pin from back in my big bangs days. (I was young and impressionable, so I’m going to go ahead and blame my Mom for letting that happen.) At least wearing this one, you shouldn’t have any regrets years from now.

I’m a clear 3,500-plus miles away from Hawaii, but a capful of Alba’s Passion Fruit Body Wash added to my bath makes me feel like I’m sunning myself on the island of Lanai singing ‘Aloha.’ The gel is an infusion of certified organic extracts of passion fruit, papaya, pineapple and awapuhi (how exotic!). The soapy smoothie smells good enough to eat, and at $5.34, it’s a heck of a lot cheaper that a round-trip ticket to the big island.

These chunky vintage bangles are a fun addition to a sundress or a tank and jeans. I’m probably going to steer clear of wearing them with anything black, so as to avoid looking like an extra in a Cindy Lauper video. Aside from that, you can’t go wrong.

The price may seem baffling, but you’re getting a brick of soap for your money. It has little massage nubs, exfoiliates, and smells like Heaven. Just don’t drop it on your foot in the shower. I’ve heard it hurts.

Thanks to a hot tip from Tanya, I’ll be adding to the ever growing collection of lip glosses in my arsenal. Bath and Body Works is having a sale, and for a fiver each you can stock up on your favorites. I like this one by Goldie for night, and the previously posted Mentha Lip Tints for anytime. (It rules.)

I had a hard time breaking it off with my chandelier earring stash, but these three-chain linear earrings from Buckle give me a new obsession to fight over. And, at $2 a pop you can afford to get your friends and just about everyone you know hooked too.

This is one of those tops that can go from day-to-night in a flash. Pair it with a tank top for a more conservative look or wear it alone for a night out. The shirred waist guarantees a flattering fit…even if your night out consists of pigging out on pizza, Pepsi and wings.

For those who have lost a bag in a bar or cab, this is the perfect purse. You can slide the rings over your wrists and forget it’s there. That is, until you get bombarded with compliments for having such great taste, yet being remarkably practical.
