A pink hat adorned with little blue whales is so preppy, it makes a ribbon belt look edgy. And I love it. But alas, I don’t have time to order one now. I’m late to meet Biff at the club for our tennis match.

Dab this liquid blush on your cheekbones and blend for a healthy, flushed, just-got-back-from-a-short-jog look. (Without the sweatiness, or the hassle of actually exercising for that matter.) The included plastic connector allows you to attach the blush to one of their other products like lipgloss, mascara, or eyeshadow for quick, convenient touchups.

I’m so not trying to steer you the wrong way with these attention-getters. You may scorn the idea of Valentine’s, but huge hanging hearts are nothing but a good time. And who knows, your cold heart just may warm to the holiday yet. (I’ll admit it, mine is starting to.)

A little less formal and splashy than the Luella strapless number, this dainty dress is memorable nonetheless. The vintage-inspired floral pattern looks classic, and the tulle* peeking out of the bottom offsets any stuffiness, making it a perfectly flirty frock.
*Or as their website describes it: “tool”. Who knows.

Make room in your bag for these guys (as if you don’t currently have nine other useless things wasting space in there) and you’ll be so happy you did. You’ll always have cheap entertainment at your disposal, and you just may be inspired to create something you never would have if the extra pair of shoes and mangled receipts dating back to 1997 were still hanging out.

God bless Target. As part of their “GO International” promotion, they’re introducing a rotating cast of designers, each for only a 90 day period. Up first is Luella Bartley, known for her mix of preppy and punk, and I couldn’t be more excited. And I’m pretty sure, after seeing the mass chaos that was H&M when Karl Lagerfeld rolled out his line, that I’m not alone. So do yourself a huge favor and get your hot little hands on the goods asap. I love the button details and the big bow on this fun strapless dress. I can’t yet think of an occassion to wear it, but at 40 bucks, the supermarket is looking like a nice option. Below are (some of) my pics…

Luella’s signature cherries and some little green tassles make this so much cooler than an average coin purse. So don’t insult it by throwing it in your bag, it’s screaming for attention. It would make a great mini going-out bag, especially this Summer.

It screams tennis whites, yet it’s a bit edgier. Which is exactly what makes her designs so fabulous.

Again, it’s dainty (puff sleeves) and tough (zipper detail). And man do I love it.

Add a little somethin-somethin to your outfit. It makes typing anything work related a little less boring when you look down at your wrist. Thank you Target!
